IGET Flavour Report 2026

We classified every one of the 380 IGET devices we stock into flavour families. Ice dominates the range, and exactly 1 device in 380 is tobacco flavoured. The full data and method are below, free to cite.

Headline findings

  • 40.8% of devices carry a cooling element in the flavour name, 155 of 380.
  • 1 device in 380 is tobacco flavoured, or 0.3%, making it the rarest family in the range.
  • Dessert flavours barely exist: 1 device is classified creamy, against 50 berry devices.
  • 7.1% of names stack three or more distinct fruits, 27 devices.
  • Ice is the most common family in every single range we stock, without exception.

The tobacco finding

The number that surprised us is tobacco. Disposable vapes are widely discussed as an alternative for adults who already smoke, and the intuitive assumption is that tobacco flavour would be a staple of the category. In this catalogue it is the rarest thing in it: 1 device out of 380.

We are reporting what the catalogue contains, not making a claim about why. A retailer's range reflects what a manufacturer produces and what a market buys, and those two forces are hard to separate from the outside. But the size of the gap is worth putting on the record: a category often framed around replacing cigarettes stocks, in our range, roughly three hundred and eighty times more non tobacco devices than tobacco ones.

Ice is not a flavour, it is the default

Counting only devices whose primary classification is Ice understates it, because cooling is usually applied on top of a fruit rather than sold alone. Counting every device with a cooling word anywhere in the name gives 155 of 380, or 40.8%.

Practically, cooling has stopped being a flavour choice and become a base layer, in the way carbonation is assumed in soft drinks. If you dislike the cold sensation, you are shopping against the grain of the entire category, which is why our flavour choosing guide starts there.

Consistency across ranges

Ice leads in every range we stock. Ranges with at least 12 devices:

Method

Every product name in our live catalogue was matched against an ordered list of 15 keyword rules, each mapping to one flavour family. Order matters: a device named Blueberry Raspberry Ice matches the cooling rule before the berry rule, so it counts as Ice rather than Berry. That is why the separate cooling count exists, and why the two numbers differ.

Devices matching no rule are classified Classic. The figures on this page are recomputed from the live catalogue every time the site is built, so they always reflect current stock rather than a frozen snapshot. Counts are devices, not sales.

What this data does not show

Being explicit about the limits, because a statistic without them is not worth citing:

  • This is one retailer's catalogue, not national sales data. It shows what is stocked, not what Australians buy or in what volume.
  • Classification is by product name. A name is marketing copy, and two devices sharing a family can taste very different.
  • It covers IGET only. Other brands may be weighted differently.
  • It is a snapshot of a live range. Stock changes, so quote the date you accessed it.
