Aloe vera is the odd ingredient that makes this blend worth explaining properly. On its own aloe tastes faintly vegetal and mildly sweet, like the water at the top of an aloe drink, and it registers as much as texture as flavour. Paired with grape it does something genuinely useful: it thins the syrup out and lays a clean, almost cucumber like freshness underneath. Grape still leads on the inhale, sugary and purple, but the finish is far lighter than plain grape ice ever manages. Menthol sits across the top of both.
